PLEASE do not crop, edit or resize your image.

Our goal is to make sure your headshot is inline with the other images on the website or other speaker headshots. If it is not, it will affect the professionalism projected.

Website, Newsletter & Email Image Guidelines

Please send me the ORIGINAL IMAGE FILE whenever possible. I will resize and crop everything myself so that all of the images have a consistent appearance and the website pages remain balanced.

Please do NOT place the image into a Word document or PowerPoint presentation and send me the document. I need the original image file.

Speaker Headshots

  • Please send the largest/highest-quality image you have, preferably 1200 pixels wide or larger.
  • Please do not crop your photo yourself. Even if there are other people in the picture, send us the original and we will crop it appropriately. This allows us to make sure everyone’s headshot has a consistent composition and size.
  • A professional headshot is wonderful, but a good-quality photo taken with your cell phone is absolutely fine.
  • If you have a photo you like on your phone, you may simply text it to us. Please send the original/full-resolution photo rather than a screenshot.
  • Please don’t take a screenshot or a cell picture of a picture.

Most importantly: please don’t worry about sizing or cropping anything yourself. That’s our job! 😊 We will resize all of the images to the appropriate dimensions and make sure they look consistent across the website.

If you’re unsure whether the file you have is suitable, just send it to us. We’d much rather have the original image and make the adjustments than have someone spend time trying to prepare it and it not be useable.
