U.S. Bishops Stand Up for Nurses’ Rights of Conscience

Never has been the right of nurses to exercise conscience and religious freedom in their health care ministry been at so great a risk, from nurses being told they must assist at abortion, to nurses losing their full-time positions for refusing to administer abortifacient drugs.  The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has developed a large initiative to protect our rights as nurses, including information as to how to take action.
