2026 Call For Nominations
General Members of NACN-USA in good standing are invited to submit nominations for the following national positions:
- Treasurer
- Recording Secretary
Regional Directors
- Region 2 (CT, VT, MA, NH, ME, RI)
- Region 4 (AL, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, VI, PR)
- Region 6 (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS)
- Region 8 (NV, UT, CO, AZ, NM)
Standing Rules for Nominations for Elected Positions
- NACN-USA general members in good standing will receive notification by email of the open nomination period.
- For consideration to open Board of Director positions, the individual must be a General Member in good standing for a minimum of one year immediately prior to the nomination.
- The nominator must be a member in good standing and have validated their nominee meets the qualifications for the position and will accept the nomination.
- The Chairperson of the Membership & Elections Committee will vet volunteers for board positions and committees. This will include notifying nominees to complete the volunteer forms and 150 words or less biography
- Nominations are to be emailed to nacnelections@protonmail.com within the nomination period.
- Eligibility for Membership on the Board of Directors and Terms of Office for Elected Members of the Board can be reviewed in the current bylaws, available on the website under Article 5, Governance, Section D.
- The Election Ballot will be emailed to general members in good standing on January 15, 2026. Voting will be open from January 15, 2026, to February 15, 2026.
