  • Nursing & Ethics – ethical issues, Catholic perspectives on healthcare, dignity of life, conscience, or current nursing concerns
  • Member News – awards, honors, publications, presentations, promotions, retirements, graduations, or other accomplishments
  • Regional & Committee News – local gatherings, regional activities, committee updates, service projects, or opportunities to get involved
  • Education & Research – interesting research, educational opportunities, CE programs, books, or resources for Catholic nurses
  • Catholic Healthcare News – news and developments involving Catholic healthcare and healthcare ministry
  • Faith & Spirituality – saints, feast days, prayer opportunities, retreats, pilgrimages, or other resources meaningful to Catholic nurses
  • Events & Opportunities – conferences, webinars, meetings, volunteer opportunities, scholarships, calls for abstracts, and other opportunities
  • Member Stories – personal stories about your vocation, nursing, faith, service, or experiences that might inspire and encourage fellow Catholic nurses
  • NACN-USA News – updates from our leadership, committees, councils, students, and the Association
  • CICIAMS & International News – news and opportunities involving Catholic nurses around the world

How To Submit News

We need the following items for each submission:

  1. Title of the Article
  2. Author with Credentials (Not too long)
  3. Subtitle (If any)
  4. Very brief abstract of 1-2 sentences
  5. Submit the actual article in a succinct manner
    • Keep all of the font the same
    • Make sure the spacing is the same
    • No hard returns, please
    • Only Bolden what really needs to be Boldened.
    • Avoid different colors unless needed.
  6. Submit original photographs, please. Not copies, screen shots, or edited versions. Make sure the pictures are as large as possible. View our image guidelines.
  7. Please check spelling and grammar prior to submitting.
