From the Desk of the President:
Greetings to all NACN-USA Members:
By the time you get this newsletter, Thanksgiving will have passed. I hope you had a joyful Thanksgiving with family and friends. Now we are approaching the Christmas holidays, and we remember why Jesus was born into the world. While He came to save us from our sins, Jesus also taught us servant leadership and how we are here to serve others and spread His message of salvation.
We are fast approaching the 2026 NACN-USA elections. There are two Executive Board positions (Treasurer and Recording Secretary) and four Regional Director positions as listed below. If you are interested in running any of these positions, please let us know. Information regarding the nominating process will be coming soon. You can nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission. Here are the States each Regional Director will be responsible for within their region:

NACN-USA has been in existence now for 116 years, functioning solely on Volunteers. More volunteers are needed to ensure and advance the success of this Association. If you have an interest, consider your skill set and begin the process by completing the online Volunteer paperwork found at www.NACN-USA.org. It is a pleasure to serve the membership of this Association. You will reap many benefits and make many new friends across the country.
NACN-USA is also looking for State Representatives. State Representatives are appointed by the President with Board of Directors approval to serve under the Regional Director to assist with NACN-USA business. The objectives of the State Representative position are to:
- Share information about NACN-USA to non-members and to recruit new members.
- Support the efforts of the Regional Directors.
Here is a link: Standing Rules State Reps 2024.docx to the job description for State Representatives. This is a great way to get familiar with the workings of the Association.
Lastly, I want to thank all of you who have completed the Annual Member Survey. I will be analyzing the data over the Thanksgiving holiday and determine from your feedback what changes or additions we need to make on the Strategic plan implemented last year. Results will be posted in our next newsletter.
Yours in Christ,
Bonnie Blachly
