Dear National Catholic Nurses Association,

On behalf of CICIAMS International President, Dr. Rosemary Khosi Mthethwa, MPH, PhD, RN and Mrs. Grace Thirikwa, RN, RM, Chair, CICIAMS Statutes Committee, attached please find the call for nominations for the CICIAMS Executive Board. The goals is to have representation on the CICIAMS Executive Board from all four regions and multiple countries within each region.

The Position Open for Nomination (Term to serve):

• Secretary General (2026-2030)

• Ecclesiastical Assistant (2026-2030)

• African Region President (2026-2030)

• Chairperson, Family Committee (2026-2030)

• Chairperson, Committee on Statutes (2026-2030)

The nominees must be members of a member association of CICIAMS and in good standing in your organization.

Nominations must include: 1) application for membership to the Executive Committee (attached), 2) President’s recommendation (attached) 3)curriculum vitae / resume and 4) a brief description of their vision and how they hope to fulfill their role.

There is a 2 months deadline for submission of all documents because the Chair, Statutes Committee must review all documents. Then the Secretary General must forward the nominee information to the National Presidents several months prior to the General Council Meeting which will be held on November 10, 2026 in Thailand. The vote will be held online this summer and RATIFIED at the General Council, the supreme governing board of CICIAMS.
