From the Desk of the President:

Hello NACN-USA Members,
We are just about to celebrate our Nation’s 250th birthday. Amazing! What a milestone and credit to our ancestors. This is also the time when our Nation was consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We now have Pope Leo XIV who was raised and educated in the USA. Mary of the Immaculate Conception is the patron of our country. The Eucharistic Revival that began back in Indianapolis a few years ago is becoming self-evident in our communities. We have a lot to be grateful for in this country despite the challenges we face.

Recently, I attended the Ascend Eucharistic Revival Conference, a one-day conference at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington. After having attended the 10th National Eucharistic Congress in 2024 in Indianapolis, I was excited to go to the Eucharistic Revival Conference.

I was able to hear presentations from Nick Stefanic and Tim Gray from the Augustine Institute. The message is to live with Joy. They shared so much information including statistics of the numbers of people coming into the Catholic Church and how it has increased by 38% nationally since last Easter and in some diocese has increased as much as 58%. It was heartening to see these statistics and the numbers of people who attended this conference. In addition to the wonderful speakers, there was Confession, Eucharistic Adoration, and a Eucharistic procession. I met several nurses while I was there and shared information about NACN-USA with them. It was a very inspiring day.

Lastly, I want to let you all know that there will be an NACN-USA Members meeting in the fall. At that time, I hope to share with you all the things we have accomplished over the year, and what we are focusing on next. What you can do is think about what you would like to see NACN-USA do in the future.

We continue to need volunteers. If you are interested and can donate even an hour or two per week, please complete the volunteer paperwork at nacn-usa.org and see all the wonderful things that are happening. Don’t forget to “Save the Date” for our next National Conference at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, June 25-27, 2027. Keep a close eye on our website at nacn-usa.org for more information.

Have a blessed and peaceful summer.
